As a social worker, one of my core values is making therapy accessible. That’s why I’ve chosen to be in-network with a variety of insurance plans, even though they often reimburse at lower rates and require added administrative time. For many people, therapy would be out of reach without insurance coverage, and I want to help reduce that barrier. I am currently in-network with:
Premera
Lifewise
Regence
Blue Cross & Blue Shield plans
Kaiser Permanente Washington (HMO and PPO)
First Choice Health
Lyra Health (EAP)
Tricare
Medicare (traditional and some Advantage plans — see below)
I accept traditional Medicare with or without a supplemental plan. I can also accept Medicare Advantage plans if I am credentialed with the insurer that provides the plan.
Please note: I do not accept Medicaid or dual-eligible Medicare/Medicaid plans.
If I’m not in-network with your plan, I can provide a superbill (an itemized receipt) for possible out-of-network reimbursement, depending on your benefits.
Rates / Session Fees
For clients not using insurance, my fees are as follows:
Initial Intake (60 minutes): $190
Standard Sessions (16–55 minutes): $85–$170 (based on length)
Payment is due at the time of service. I accept credit cards, debit cards, and HSA/FSA cards.
How Billing Works
If you're using insurance, I will submit claims directly to your insurance company. After they process the claim and send me the Explanation of Benefits (EOB), I’ll charge your copay or coinsurance amount to the card you keep on file in my secure client portal.
You can use a credit card, debit card, or HSA/FSA card for this. Having a card on file makes the process simple for you and allows us to focus on your care—not billing logistics.
Do You Offer Sliding Scale?
I don’t offer sliding scale rates. Accepting insurance is my way of making therapy more accessible for more people. Since insurance often pays half of typical private pay rates and adds significant administrative responsibilities, I’m not able to offer additional fee reductions.
If I’m not in-network with your plan and you’re concerned about cost, I can provide a superbill for potential out-of-network reimbursement, or you may wish to explore Open Path Collective for reduced-fee options.
Good Faith Estimate In compliance with the No Surprises Act, if you are not going to be using insurance to pay for your sessions, you have the right to receive a "Good Faith Estimate" explaining how much your care will cost. This will be based upon the rates listed above, and I will provide you an estimate of what you would expect to pay over the course of a year. For more information about your right to receive a Good Faith Estimate and the No Surprises Act, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
